Im not sure if this belongs here but couldn't find a better place for it. Anyways I know there are the Dawn of war games and few few console shooters. My question was does a tabletop version on warhammer/warhammer 40k exist anywhere, For either console or PC? Ive had no luck finding one so I really don't know, thought this would be the place to ask tho!!!

I think they're asking if there is a direct port of the tabletop game available on PC (or whatever)

so turn based, same rules etc

probably the closest is the Vassal program http://www.vassalengine.org/

people have written various unoficial warhammer related modules, but you'll have to hunt them down yourself as they are not hosted on the vassal site

A PC or console game that is just like playing warhammer/warhammer40k at your local GW Store or on a "tabletop". The dawn of war games and such are like warcraft and all those. I was looking to see if a game exists that's really like playing warhammer.... dice rolls, movement, turned based etc etc

Yup, I think Vassal 40K is the closest you'll get. You'll still need the rulebook and the appropriate Codex to use it though.

I hear Space Hulk on Ipad has the same rules as the board game.
