My lad and five of his mates(all 40k players)gave me a fantastic intro game this weekend. We ran a Xenos vs Imperium battle.I used my newly painted Dark Eldar,my son his Christmas prezzie Eldar and his mate had a great gun line Tau.The other lads were fielding Space Wolves,Dark Angels Grey knights and Guard. Now i had a basic grasp of the game, but these lads made me welcome and really helped me play and towards the end i felt i knew what i was doing. My team got hammered but it was really good fun. The game was a great crack, even better we played on my fully painted and flocked citadel game board and my dads home made table (which was awesome). So we basically decided we are going to play this every two to three weeks as we all had such a good time.

Good stuff!

Sometimes we forget that people have a lot of fun actually playing the game.

I'm writing a load of fiction. My latest story starts here... This is the index of all the stories...

We're not very big on official rules. Rules lead to people looking for loopholes. What's here is about it.

I'm sure some certain superstars can come in and claim that the game OP had was not fun at all, but broken, messy and overpriced.
