Hello.
I've been in the wargames hobby for some time now and read many discussions on many forums, but never actually joined the community until now.

I got my gaming start with Warzone in 1996 and when that died I switched to Warhammer 40K, which I played for many years. Lately, however, I've lost interest in 40K and picked up Infinity, but with the resurrection of Warzone, I may be playing that again as well.

I've always been more interested in the modeling and scheming more than the painting and playing, but I do still do those things. My interest in building things, and experience as an engineer, has led me to start a resin casting company with a friend from our early days of gaming, but I'll leave it at that for now; as much as I'd like to advertise myself, I don't think that I can be a helpful member of this community if I talk about business all the time. This is, after all, just an introduction.

I greatly enjoy Warhammer 40k. If you ever lose interest for fluff reasons, look up 1d4chan. It's a wikia that is the most glorious site on the interwebs. This website, and 1d4chan, always need more dakka

I'm going to have to agree with Maximus, 1d4chan is a good place for finding satire for 40k. If you still like the fluff, I recommend checking the site too (now I feel like I'm advertising).

Fluff and modeling are the reason why I keep GW in my life, it's the game that I've lost interest in. Even so, I do love a good satire.
