I've checked around different sources and the Chapter organization of the White Scars is a little confusing to me. Most sources indicate that they utilize a slightly modified organizational structure than the Codex Astartes calls for, but only specifically points out that the companies are referred to as "Brotherhoods".

It seems likely to me, especially with Kor'sarro Khan's boys, that these companies might be on a more ad-hoc basis than other chapters. Can anyone confirm this? Is the only appreciable difference that the Scars employ more bikes/storm talons than usual, or do the vagaries of each brotherhood dictate organization?
