Hey there. I'm new to the hobby, so forgive me for asking what might seem like basic questions, but here it goes:

Does anyone else have trouble with the clear plastic flying bases? Personally, I've already snapped the support rods on 3 of them, and I have been playing 40k for less than a year. They're just so fragile! Not to mention that my Deffkoptas wiggle around on them which drives me crazy. I'm thinking of making some custom scratchbuilt flying bases for them, specifically designed to be a little more durable and sturdy. Some options I'm pondering:

A small nail through an existing clear plastic flying base (or other base).
A screw through an existing clear plastic flying base (or other base).
Magnets + ??? + base.
Nut and bolt combo: superglue a nut to the bottom of the Deffkopta (between the landing gear), and superglue the bolt upright to an existing base.

I like the last option. Probably would need to use a standard plastic base. Maybe add a metal washer to the bottom that matches the diameter of the base to give it some weight so the whole thing doesn't tip over. If anyone has any experience with this feel free to chip in here.
