Like a lot of tyranid players i'm trying to get the best of our new codex... That's hard but i know we can succeed if we manage to discuss on army lists like we always did =D

So here is my 1500 points list, feel free to explain how you feel about it !

So this will be my 1500 points base... I was also thinking about ditching TLD on 1 or both flyrants to get more models on the table (cause i dont really like to choose each turn between using a psychic power OR shot those 12 S6 shots)
Plan is to get warriors on backfield objectiveand babysitting the exocrine. Move the tervigon zoan and gaunts forward trying to catch this midmap objective while screened by gargoyles. Get air supremacy with flyrant and crone before sending them to CC.
I will mostly play against IG CSM Necrons Chaos tourney lists.

here we go, what do you think about this list ? how can i improve it ? what kind of models do you guys see on 1750 and 2000 points ? more mawlocs ? adding AGfexxes ? more crone ? more troops ?

Strong base I think. Gargoyles have always worked for me so I like you added them in there. All your major slots have good units in them that can be used rather effectively. With this many T6 on the board, I doubt someone would waste S8 on warriors, especially because you will get some obscured cover from all the models. A 5+ is better than nothing.

Otherwise, I think you have more synapse creatures than you need though - 2 flyrants, tervi, 3warriors, and a zoan is quite a bit, and I think you can make more efficient purchases than both the Terv/Warr. Unless you're attached to them, you can drop one for another zoan or 2 (get an ML2 synapse caster out of it), and fill up troops with more blobs of gants. Maybe add some biovores with your remaining 350 and I think it should be pretty fun to play!

To be honest i was thinking about playing only 2 troops but here is the thing. I know half of my ennemies and those guys are always focusing troops when playing objectives... That's why i'm a little bit scared of playing only a tervigon + 30 gaunts as troop choice.
I already had this kind of issue when you get turn 3 with no more troops...

Speaking about biovores, well... unlike a lot of people, this is a no go for me.

Any thoughts about Winged tyrant without TLD ? About 2 crones at 2000 points ?
