G'day all,
I'm planning on painting up some Lizardmen with my new airbrush and thought it'd be a good opportunity to try out some Vallejo Model Air colours. No one near by sells them, so I'll have to buy them online, which makes it hard to figure out exactly which colours would work best.
The colour scheme I'm going for is similar to this one:

I want to use a similar scheme on my Saurus. So can anyone familiar with the Vallejo Model Air range give an idea of what colours I'd need to achieve that? I'm thinking an off-white for the belly followed by a brownish green and then a dark green and then maybe pure black for the uppermost parts.
So I'm thinking:
White undercoat
Duck Egg Green (belly)
Camouflage Light Green (skin)
Camouflage Dark Green (upper areas of scales)
Or maybe I should shift it one and get Camo Green (the medium one) and then Black Green or maybe US Dark Green for the dark areas? I'm not really sure, it's really hard to tell from the online colour swatches.
Anyone familiar with the range able to give some advice?
I wouldn't be adverse to getting some Minitaire paints from Badger either.
P.S. I know I could mix the paints myself, I could even mix them from my existing citadel and P3 paints... I just want to try out the Vallejo Air or Minitaire lines of paint and since I want to use this scheme for a large number of models, want something I can just throw straight in the airbrush without having to mix).
