I'm trying to get some friends new to wargaming into the hobby through playing some Kill Team games. I've fashioned a couple of decent squads out of my DA army, some DV Chaos units, and most recently a handfull of AOBR Orks. I have a bunch of Genestealers from playing homebrew Space Hulk, and I was thinking of repurposing them for another Kill Team. Being new to Tyranids, I was wondering if you could help suggest the best way to kit them out with the 200 pts I've got to play with?

Just the base 5 stealers and a Broodlord come out to 130pts. Should I add a few more stealers? Scything Talons? Other biomorphs? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

As it would be getting them into the game, add more genestealers so the unit wont just disappear after a round of concentrated fire. Really draw their attention to the number of guys you can have in one group so they might get interested in playing tyranids themselves

I have had good success with my kill team of 10 Genestealers and a Broodlord. Bodies are far more important than upgrades when you only have 200 points to spend.

Excellent, thanks 10 Genestealers w/ a Broodlord comes out to exactly 200 pts and saves me time converting them for upgrades. Should be fun running these against a tactical squad...
