I have a tournemount coming up in April which is a doubles event. My partner will have 600pts allowing us to field a 1200 Pt side.

I am building a new army and a new list - Iron Hands

HQ = Master of the Forge
Troops = 2 X Scouts
Fast Attack = Stormtalon & Land Speeder Storm
Heavy Support = Hunter (or predator)

Can you offer some advice?

Two points of note from me:

Firstly I'm a little worried about 2 scouts squad for troops as they're very fragile units and aren't great for getting objectives away from your deployment zone. Then again, it might not be a problem if you partner's running assault marines (which I assume he is).

Secondly, with a stormraven and stormtalon between you AA shouldn't be too much of a problem unless you come up agains flyer spam such as necrons or heldrakes (not sure how likely that is in your meta), so I would definitely go with the Pred - lascannons if possible
