Just wondering about this list. The idea is to combine the shooty power of IG with the CC of Orks. 108 bodies, however squishy they may be, takes some killing at 750 points^^

The idea is the Orks will head towards the enemy with the Gretchin proudly leading the way. This is backed up by the Guard sitting back and firing at anything that can hurt the Ork strike force. Not sure if the warboss would hang back with the Guard or charge ahead with his Ork Boyz.

Any thoughts? I dont have Gretchin models yet. I have not played as Orks before. That IG foot list has gone ok for me in the past.

The Orks have too many troop choices for an allied slot, 10 man boyz units are worthless and you don't need more cheap scoring grots in an army thats 90% troops. A warboss without wargear is a massive waste.

So pretty much yeah, what phatonic said.

You really want to make it like one block of 30 Boyz

Large part of the community will tell you they need to be Shootas.

If you knew your opponent was going to have maybe two units that will overkill 10 boyz excessively it could be a plan to have multiple small units, but it's inadvisable.

I am the kinda ork that takes his own washing machine apart, puts new bearings in it, then puts it back together, and it still works.
