morning all, im looking at making some scenic bases and was wondering if 1.5mm (1/16th") is to thick.

Shouldn't be I use 1mm but it depends on what you want the base to be like. I.e very high or just textured

Cheers dude. I'm using it for rocky out crops and as a solid base for the floor with sand over it. What do you reckon?

Probably about 2mm this should give you enough height to make the cork look like a rocky surface

I got 3mm, and that's quite thick for small bases, it depends really on how rocky you want it to be

This is to put bits of stuff on the bases of figures, is it?

It would be very thin to make a base for a piece of scenery, because corkboard is quite weak.
