Just a friendly warning, IF you order anything from these people.
They did a kickstarter that finished on the 8th September and successfully funded at nearly three times the goal. A number of updates were forthcoming upto the 25th Sept, then nothing, until people started asking how to try and get there money back, and how to contact the police, then surprise surprise, there's an update on 1st Jan, saying surveys out that week end, and dispatch of some stuff. Since then, nothing, except 1 person saying they had a survey after making enquiries into the Kansas legal system.
It may be all down to a lack of updating the backers, but 4 weeks after saying the survey would be out, and deliveries would start, there is nothing
So, I advise not ordering anything from Creative Gamescapes, Kansas City, MO, as you won't see the product or money

There is the link if anyone is interested. I wasn't aware of this Kickstarter when it was running, but based off the comments section for that campaign, it looks pretty grim for the backers getting anything for their pledges.

Too bad too.
Those sci fi figures looked pretty cool. Same ones I was interested in for the Salvage Mogul game I have a few other bands for.
And yes... The boom times are gone for KS's brand of funding games,Caveat Emptor.

At Games Workshop, we believe that how you behave does matter. We believe this so strongly that we have written it down in the Games Workshop Book. There is a section in the book where we talk about the values we expect all staff to demonstrate in their working lives. These values are Lawyers, Guns and Money. |

Not really much of a surprise given they were "kickstarting" an existing product, and offering it at zero discount to boot.

Name and shame people.
i left a quick - yet poorly written - comment on their webpage.
Hi guys,
You may be interested in this thread on Dakka Dakka http://www.dakkadakka.com/dakkaforum/posts/list/576512.page
It regards your Kickstarter campaign and your failure to communicate your intentions.
Whilst you have some great product which I wish to purchase I cannot ignore the comments in this thread and on your Kickstarter page.
if you cannot communicate with your backers how can I trust that you will deliver your products to a non Ks buyer/
your response would be appreciated.
Lets see if they respond.

Some people have received their product, others haven't. Much like EBay, where they've sold two base sets for positive comments, and one octuple set for a "Never received item or communication back from seller. Dead seller it appears.".
So, pretty much par for the course, apparently.

Damn shame, I ordered one of their large sets a few years back and love it.
Had good communication with the owner too at the time.
Guess you never know.

Their last login on Kickstarter is April 18th, viewable if you click on their name here:

Lots of sets for sale on ebay from them, but only two pieces of feedback this year: one negative saying they didn't receive an 8-set auction, and one positive saying they got a single set auction.
Which is a bummer because I would totally spring for a set of 8... I dropped my pledge on the Kickstarter due to a lack of communication during the campaign, obviously very glad that I did now. I'd love to buy a set through ebay with their extra protections, and simply filing a claim if they didn't deliver in a month or so.
I feel bad for all those waiting, and since they're getting negative feedback on ebay too it really does look like they've gone dark... I don't understand it as they already had the tool made and clearly had some sets to send, which were presumably from this latest round of production.
I played on this terrain at AdeptiCon and absolutely loved it... will be continuing to keep an eye on it because if they ever do get on the ball and start selling correctly, I'd definitely be in for it.

Maybe they'll be at Adepticon again?
Maybe a band of outlaws dressed in lincoln green will flip their tables and redistribute their wealth to the poor backers...

....and lo!.....The Age of Sigmar came to an end when Saint Veetock and his hamster legions smote the false Sigmar and destroyed the bubbleverse and lead the true believers back to the Old World.
