2000 points on the dot. Grand master makes the Dreadknights scoring (on a good roll the solodin is also scoring). Tau firebase should have the air covered. Farseer buffs the riptide and wraithknight and/or causes general havoc. GM, solodin, strikes, and windriders all start in reserves thereby protecting the bulk of the troops. Strikes, GM, and solodin can all deep strike. The jetbikes have enough mobility to not care that they just zoom onto the board normally. Until they do, the rest of the army has fun with whatever it wants.

It sounds effective, you are certainly embracing the new 40k. Don't know about fun though, unless you like curb stomping people or you play in a very competitive crowd.

I don't know your meta but only 2 AA units seems a little light at 2k.

Also why the VT on the Riptide? I just don't understand the thought process there.

Without the Teleporter the Dreadknights are underwhelming and just too easy to deal with. They only do real damage in combat and you have no way of getting them there.

I think you're trying too much at this point level meaning you've had to minimise everything (though you've thrown 20 points away on a VT for the Riptide) and its just not got the threat level it needs.

It will do well and against decent to mediocre players and lists. But good players will be able to deal with it piecemeal as you don't have the speed to engage in mêlée nor the ranged damage output to win a straight up fire fight.

Yes my Colour is Black but not for the reasons stated mainly just because it's slimming... http://imperiusdominatus.blogspot.com

This won't work if you fight anyone with half a brain....

Not enough shooting to win gun fights, not enough melee to win CC fights.. and your speed is bad..

Scrap it and make a new one.
