I'm very interested in starting Fantasy, but don't know what the Toronto scene is like/if there is a Toronto scene. If you're in a gaming group looking for noobs to grind down, or if you know of a store where the game is played regularly, let me know. Obviously won't be able to play for a while, but it would help out my decision to start if there was already a pre-existing scene. I'm not particularly interested in playing at the GW, but if that's where the biggest group is, let me know.

I'm technically not looking for a game, but am looking to see if there are games! If this belongs elsewhere, apologies in advance.

Hey I don't exactly know much as I am in the same boat as you (interested in starting fantasy) but from the research I have done dueling grounds seems to be ok (never been but they have a night devoted to fantasy) , heavy support is a nice store to get models as well but I don't see much fantasy being played there, it's mostly warmachine and magic. other than that I have seen fantasy being played at the yonge and Lawrence gw. That's about all I have scavenged up. if you want to play a game when we get our 500 point armies up and going I would be down, no promises until school is out though as I will be pretty busy until end of april.

I go to GW Langstaff out in Vaughan every so often. I am currently practicing for Warmaster's out in Kitchener, and so are a few people at that store.

Where are you located?

I'm in midtown Toronto. My army is on its way and in a few months of painting I should have something decent enough to start seriously playing. It's nice to know that there's a group of people playing... gives me something to work towards.

Hi guys!
I've been a long time lurker of the forum but only recently i signed up and only now i finally decided to post.
I live in toronto and I play fantasy.
Now i don't really play as I haven't had a game in over 2 years.
However i'm really aching for moving miniatures around and have a good time.
as of now I can host games: I've got a big table (9'x4') and dozens of terrain pieces.
I have a dwarf army that can go up to 3000 points completely painted with no cannons , and over 6000 if i include all the various metals and plastic that aren't painted yet.
As i have been out of the game for so long it would be like starting again for me, so i'm also down for small introductory games.
