Hi
Please i hope somebody can answer, cant seem to get much from google.

I know usa white dwarf numbers are 1 adrift from uk numbers. But when did this start? I cant find any difference in early issues so it must have started at some number. Lexicanium and wiki sites dont seem to know.

So... if i am asked to track down a copy of say ish 174 i wont know if i get the right issue unless i know if usa numbering started before or after this issue (i know pricetag is in dollar or pound but seems early issues are same just different printed price.

So please does anyone have an idea what was the first issue to have the 1-different numbering?

Thanks much for any info and thanks too just for taking the time to read my post.

Cheers
Bobspoons (Alex)

EDIT:
Ive noticed that the Dakka forum white dwarf index thread mentions that the numbering differed after issue 200, yet when i look around the internet I cant find different covers of issue 200 and 201 so Im not sure if this is the number it started at. Anyone any more info please?
Also, is there a full index of white dwarf out there like the one that started to be compiled on Dakka? I used to look at the exodite index but it seems to have gone and the other google searches for such dont seem to give alive links.
Thanks for any info.
