I love love LOVE the Dark Eldar battleforce that I have. It was probably the most awesome kit I've ever assembled, easy to convert, magnetize and paint. Real top-notch stuff. However, my HQ is a finecast Archon and has all but completely fallen apart in a very short amount of time. I want to expand this force from 500 to 1500, but I want to do it without buying crappy crappy finecast if I can help it.

~500pts:

Archon with a bunch of crap and his arms and spikes all falling off

10x Kabalites w/ 1x Splinter Cannon
in a Raider w/ Flickerfield & Nightshields

5x Wyches w/ haywire grenades
in a Venom w/ TL Splinter Rifles and Nightshields

3x Reavers w/ 1x Cluster Caltrops


If I do this, my options for expanding include:
- more of what I already have (so far so good excpet the Archon)
- Scourges
- Hellions
- any of the Heavy Support options (Ravager, Pain Engines, Razorwing)

I suppose this really would only mean I won't have Incubi or any of the new HQ options. What do you guys think?

I am aware of this. I would like to get some advice from the gang here if I chose to expand WITHOUT finecast models (which sucks cuz i love Incubi).

Okay, as far as expanding this up to a 1200 pt list, where should I go? I was thinking another Raider, another Venom, another box of Kabalites (for trueborns) and then a unit of Scourges.
