Been playing around with lists, but I haven't run an O'Vesa list yet due to not owning Farsight (hate to proxy) but he is now on his way. Below is a competitive that I believe is strong in my opinion.

Tide - IA, SMS, EWO
Tide - HBC, SMS, TL, VT, ToAM, 2x Shield Drones

Kroot x10, Hound
XV8 - TL Pods
XV8 - TL Pods
XV8 x 3 - TL Pods

Skyray - SMS, BF
Broads x3 - HYMP, SMS, EWO

Buffmander - CCN, MSS, PEC, VR

Kroot x 10

+ Twin linked means less need for ML.
+ 5 Scoring Units
+ Would have added another Skyray but I don't have the option atm. But I like show it looks anyways.
+ Not sure if I should make the solo suits FB but I need them to stay alive.
+ Would run a 4th Tide but I only own 3 thus far.

Any thoughts would be great. Will play test the final list soon.

Never take TL on XV8s if you can help help it, with or without markerlights, its is always better to have 4 shots, than it is to have 2 that re-roll to hit.

If you are taking O'Vesa, you can't really include a HBC tide, since the HBC tide wants the ECPA, but cannot have it because O'Vesa does, additionally, Riptides never ever, should have a VT, it does not synergise with their role at all.

Additionally, O'Vesa should be teamed up with a IA tide rather than a HBC one, since you are better off deleting 2 squads a turn rather than 1 and most of the other.

I disagree, in my experience a VT on a HBC tide has come in handy in many occasions where without one I would have suffered. Especially playing vs flying monsterous creatures and flyers. I think it works well, and I can just switch to the IA at any time depending on the sercumstances.
2 pods would be handy but with points being tight it was better to run TL as it is cheaper. Their main purpose is to score and be annoying.

Agree with the TL MP vrs double MP. Always take two guns over just one. And i know you said you didnt have it but i like the second skyray over the missile sides.
