Ok so I've been smashing my head against the wall with this new nid book. I've tried almost all the units in the book in test games and found what I thinks to be a list that works and can actually do well. Let me take you through my selections and why.

Pretty standard they put out a lot of damage in early rounds and draw a lot of fire. these two get me first blood every game I've gone first.

Hides behind the big guys I've gotten quite good at keeping him out of line of site.

hopefully gives Fnp to MC's it also provides synapse to my backfield.

Tyranno's are really tough to kill and spa great job of killing infantry with there acid spray and attract a lot of attention because my other mc's are usually rocking a 3+ cover from hiding behind a tyranno and the venomthropes shrouded bubble. The exocrine has been very effective I barley ever use his blast and mainly fire the 6 shots 3 str 7 ap2 hits per turn is nothing to laugh at and does a great job hurting riptides and the such.

I like it even tho it doesn't have enough Harpies for me. You like the Crone over a harpy?

I'd want another Zoan somehow.

Changed my list up I could take out the second venomthropes for another zoan. I took out the biovores for an exocrine because I prefer the ap2 because I was having trouble getting past 2+ saves in my meta. I also took out the crone as he was a weak target and cost me first blood on many occasions.

Not a huge fan on Tervigon and gaunts in troops but understand the appeal. Most of your other selections appear solid I wonder if Rupture Cannons would do more for the Tfex than regen and up your early game damage output.

No ADL seems a waste with Venomthropes around. Other than that looks pretty solid 6 MCs in 1500 is about right.

I don't play nids anymore but have a soft spot for them since they were my first army.

Been helping my friend out build his and this is fairly similar to what we're leaning to. Mawlocs are great, when they work, but it's actually fairly easy to work around them. I'm a fan of the Tyrannofex, he's pretty hard to take down.

Do you rely on your Biovores to miss to get the most out of them, or are you actually using them to hit?

I agree that you should get another Zoe in there if you can.

Yes missing is much better from my test games but I find. And to answer fling it I was thinking about swapping the exocrenes for 3 biovores and an adl
