You may want to go back and edit your post to include a few of the pictures from your blog. Aside from being a requirement of the Showcase forum (a moderator will move the post if you leave it alone), posting pictures directly in threads generates discussion a lot faster than links - since you bothered to post in the first place, I assume that's what you want. If you're looking to generate traffic, a few teaser images and a link saying "there's more on the blog" generally works better than a lone link, anyway. Just something to keep in mind for the future.
