Frightening Flamer of Tzeentch

Huddersfield

Hello everyone, this is a list I kind of like the look of. It is not meant to be WAAC, but Thousand Sons theme with a chance to beat anyone.

HQ
Ahriman

Troops
25x Cultists (2x flamers, 1x shotgun [champion], 23x autopistol)
35x Cultists (3x flamers, 1x shotgun [champion], 32x autopistol)
10x Thousand Sons (rhino, meltabomb [sorceror])
9x Thousand Sons (rhino) Ahriman goes here

Fast Attack
4x Chaos Spawn (mark of nurgle)
2x Hell Blade (no daemonic possession)

Heavy Support
1x Spartan Assault Tank 25 Cultist blob goes here
2x Predator (Autocannon Turret, Lascannon Sponsons)

35 man squad of Cultists will wait in reserve depending on the opponent and will guard the backfield objective. Everyone else is going to storm forwards and pray to Tzeentch for the Hell Blades arrival on turn two to add a distraction to the opponent. Spawns will do their best to distract the opponent from shooting down the Rhinos. Spartan will be equipped depending on the opponent, so he'll have the twin linked heavy flamer against hordes, reaper against transport spam. I am relying on Ahriman doing a lot of damage which is a bit unrealistic, but should be fun to play... so long as the opponent isn't shooting his Rhino down for a couple of turns.

I don't know how much you care, but saying KSons theme and then using Tzeentch's most loathed brother's spawn seems kinda weird to me...

I used to think the same thing... however I treat them as suicide units that they keep caged and ready to throw against the opponent... You could think of them as flesh changed sorcerors or spells that went wrong.

Either way, it's the exception to the theme in the list... but I really wanted some T6 bodies soaking fire. (Tzeentch Marines don't get T6 units and nurgle bikers would be impossible to justify fluff-wise)

34x Cultists (3x flamers, 32x autopistol)
10x Thousand Sons (rhino, meltabomb [sorceror])
9x Thousand Sons (rhino) Ahriman goes here

Fast Attack
5x Chaos Spawn (no mark)
2x Hell Blade (no daemonic possession)

Heavy Support
1x Spartan Assault Tank 25 Cultist blob goes here
2x Predator (Autocannon Turret, Lascannon Sponsons)

I have adjusted the list, removing the Nurgle marked Spawns and replaced them with unmarked spawns (which gave me points for an extra one by removal of a shotgun and a cultist)

I don't want there to be any doubt when I reveal this force that it's Tzeentch themed and your comment has forced me into this change LoL, I don't know how it will affect competetiveness except that the Spawn squad is going to get insta-killed alot more now. At least I get one more.

What do you think now Slaanesh-Devotee?
