Had a game last night and tried to develop some drifting / moving asteroids in the game. It brought a new dimension to the game but was not perfect and need to tweek the movement. Anybody else tried or seen anything like this and what "rules" you use to move the asteroids and effect on collisions with ships?

For random movement a d6 and scatter dice (or d3 if you want less scatter)

Or try getting an extra player (easiest if there's an odd number of players) to use a basic maneuver dial for a pilot skill 0 move

My buddy just uses an app on his phone that rolls a bunch of directional dice and we just move them 1 (on the fire range ruler).
