I still have this game. I am actually a fan of the first edition (I-Kore) versus the later (I think Urban Mammouth) box set. I hated the dinosaurs and the Japanese-looking VASA, although I did like all the Junker buggies. And once the Koraline stopped being aliens and started looking Daemonic with the skull babies and what not, I was finally like, If its not in the original I-Kore book, it doesnt exist. It does certainly limit the available units, but I dont play it much so I am not tired of them. I bought a bunch of stuff on Ebay when it was very available and dirt cheap, and have sizeable armies for all the factions with all of the books. Its a little cheesy, I will admit that, but its still kind of fun to me. Was wondering if there were any other fans of this, of if anyone played it when it was briefly in its prime.
BTW I never got into Urban War, although those models looked really nice. I hate setting counters for activation sequences and try to avoid all games that use it.

I used to demo the game for I-Kore. They used to send insanely generous amounts of figures to me for each new scenario. Wish the company hadn't gone belly up.
Urban Mammoth are fine folks but the prices to get their stuff stateside are too rich for my fringe interest in the game.
Agree that 1.0 and 1.1 for rules were pretty doggone decent.
Minis were excellent for the most part, too --- Koraline kept getting weirder as you pointed out.

Scotia Grendel has the rights for Void 1.1, and they have made the rules and other books available for free from their website
http://www.scotiagrendel.com/Products/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=217_218_59_69
They also have most the original figures for about half what Urban Mammoth sells them for.
Excellent rules, fun figures and generally a good game.

I played 1.0 and 1.1
Still have my junkers stuff.
The buggies tend to get used as terrain pieces on my infinity table, now.

Never actually played the game, but my buddy still tells me about what a fun game it was when he was playing.
One of my side projects is a Junkers army for use in various sci-fi games. Mostly Void junker figs with a few additions from other factions and companies. I've currently painted up about 70 infantry 7 cav and a buggy. About 50 figs and a few vehicles left.
Got a bit burned out after painting 47 Legionnaires in one group, so I haven't been back to the project in a while.

I never played Void but I did enjoy the games of Urban War I played and I've heard Metropolis is also fun. I have a large force of Viridians for Urban War.
Actually I recently went through my Urban War Viridians (the nice updated figures) and decided I don't need quite so many - so I have a lot that I am getting rid of, probably over 50% off if anyone wants a nice deal on a large lot of figures and support weapons. Marines, Veterans, characters, mortars, assault troops, 45+ models I think. PM me for pics/price
