So after finally getting noise marine models I am eager to try them out at a tournament.
Here's my list so far:
Aegis Defense Lines w/ Quad gun
Lord with MoS (stays back and mans the quad gun)
5 Noise Marines w/ Blastmaster and Rhino
5 Noise Marines w/ Blastmaster
5 Noise Marines w/ Blastmaster
5 Noise Marines w/ Blastmaster, Doom Siren, and Rhino w/ dozer blades
5 Havocs w/ 4 Autocannons
5 Havocs w/ 4 Autocannons
I usually hate rhinos but I think they are necessary due to having no mobility otherwise. I'm usually a CC player so I'm interested to see how it is to be on the giving rather than receiving end of firepower. Plus this list mainly relies on 48" firepower which many armies cannot touch. Even Tau peter out significantly outside 30-36".
What do you all think?

No opinions?
I was also considering running this list alternatively with allied daemons:
Aegis Defense Lines with Quadgun
1 Lord with MoS
5 Noise Marines w/ Blastmaster and Rhino w/ dozer blades
5 Noise Marines w/ Blastmaster
5 Noise Marines w/ Blastmaster
Herad of Khorne with Juggernaut and Lesser Reward
15 Daemonettes
10 Flesh Hounds

Looks decent enough I dont really have much suggestion other then good luck they both look like decent lists, Alot of damage from those blastmasters could ruin anyones day, 2+ saves will probably be your only prob but you could still volume of fire them with bolters and (cant remeber how many shots the blastmasters varient is 3?) i dunno seems like a cool list, I really wanna try a double sorc list trying to get sonic blasters str 6.

The main thing I don't like about the list is it feels like you lack a real answer to 2+ armor saves, and high AV vehicles. a single build featuring a Land Raider is practically untouchable by either of your lists and will be able to drop off its payload uncontested.
One thing you might consider to eek a bit more durability out of your list is collapse the squads into larger squads of around 10 models with 2 blastmasters and an Icon of Excess. You keep the same number of small blasts, but you pick up a 5+ fnp save which can come in handy vs a lot of things. The icon will also grant an attached MoS Lord FNP, making it an even better deal for a group of Noise marines stationed by the Quad Gun.
Ultimately I don't think you have the shooting to deal with a wide enough variety of targets to compete in a tournament effectively. You need some way to take out at least one Land Raider

Thanks for the tips guys.
Quitarguero the blastmaster is now either a small S8 ap3 ignores cover blast or S5 AP4 Assault 2.
I know what you mean Akaean. My only problem is that noise marines are so expensive. About dealing with land raiders I feel what you're saying but I figure in that case if I do come across one at that point level the rest of the list will be weak enough for me to wipe out and just sit and wait for the land raider's contents to have to come out for an objective. A land raider really won't have enough dakka for it's 250+ price tag to really matter much to my army.

I think it's novel for a Noise Marine list. My only criticism is the double Havocs. With the Quad gun, you have a potential 20 autocannon shots per turn. That seems like "too much of a good thing". I would think about dropping one squad of Havocs and see if you can find a few more points to put in a Squad of 2 Oblits. They are very versatile (you can choose to start them on the board or Deep Strike them to go after Tanks, Bunkers, etc) and they would solve your lack of ability to deal with 2+ Terminators (Power Fist, Plasma Cannon, TL-Plasmagun, Assault Cannon), to deal with high AV vehicles (Multi-melta, TL-Meltagun), and swarms (Plasma Cannon, Assault Cannon, Hvy Flamer, TL-Flamer). I think they would fir in your list very well.

If you are going to run all those sonic weapons, you need a Sorc to get the Slaansh powers that give those weapons bonus. Lv3 pysker.

Thanks for the advice. That's probably what I would do if I were to stay pure CSM, after reading a bunch of battle reports, and realizing I'd be pretty screwed in CC. I think I'm going to go with daemons allies since I think they add a lot of CC punch that I am severely lacking and the fact the pure CSM list doesn't bring the fight to the enemy, which may get boring.

I don't really see the point in giving +1 S to a S8 weapon, that seems like a pretty marginal improvement for an expensive pskyer at that point level.
Here's the list I am leaning towards at this point:
Aegis Defense Lines w/ Quadgun
Slaanesh Chaos Lord
5 Noise Marines w/ Blastmaster
5 Noise Marines w/ Blastmaster
5 Noise Marines w/ Blastmaster
Herald of Khorne on Juggernaut with lesser gift (etherblade or axe of khorne if I'm up against an uber character without EW)
17 Daemonettes with Alluress (mainly a 5 point filler)
11 Flesh Hounds
999 points (Just as Tzeentch planned)
It seems like the Blastmasters will be able to freely murder most things from afar while holding objectives while the double daemon mobs running up keep the enemy back. The daemonettes are also my answer for if some douche brings Wraithknights or Riptides.

I usually find the best part of a Noise Marine list is the straight 5 man blastmaster units that can sit on the back objectives, still put out fire, and be fearless. I think they start to show some weakness when you have them trying to go out and get mid or far objectives since the Blastmaster loses effectiveness. I like lists that just use a sprinkling of them like your last list rather than an all out saturation of them like your first list. Best to pair them with something tougher and better at CC. I've found Plague Marines / Noise Marines make a good offense / defense team, but then you have the slight awkwardness of finding a use for the HQ's.
Take some pictures if you can let us know how it goes. Good luck!
