Posted this over on my P&M blog, but thought I'd put it here to.


Since I had a few people ask how I did the gore on my raptors I took some pictures while doing a small patch on my melta gunner in order to show you how i do it.

Firstly I dab a bit of super glue on the origin of the gore then add a blob of greenstuff on top.
The super glue just keeps it there so the next step is easier.



This is the tool I use. As you can see it's very similar to a dentists pick but anything with a point will do, a tooth pick or sewing needle.



Then you just start tearing bits of green stuff off of the blob. It's fine to actually remove some green stuff here, it should be forming "ribbons" now.



Thats pretty much it, just manipulate the ribbon to dry in the direction you want the gore flying/falling and you're done.
Now just paint it red and slather tamiya clear red over it all.
