What size table do you usually use? I've been using my 6x4ft that I built for Fantasy and 40k a few years ago, but wanted to know if anyone went smaller or bigger for standard Flames of War games?

Depends on point size of the battle. When we do our escalation leagues and start at 500 points and under 1000 we play on 3'x4' tables because otherwise the force gets lost in too much space for a fun game. Usually from about 1000 up to 1750 we'll play on a 6'x4' table. For tanksgiving events it depends on how many people show. Last time we played on a 24'x4' table with 3 players and 4 1500 point armies per side.

Yes 6 x 4 is perfectly fine, the only time it might be an issue is if you up the points value and one of the players has gone mental with a Soviet Strelkovy horde.

8ft x 4ft if you can squeeze it in... Why? So you can keep your reserves, dead models, books dice and tape measures on the 1ft extra space at each end! No more crowded Battlefield.

Collecting Forge World 30k????? If you prefix any Thread Subject line on 30k or Pre-heresy or Horus Heresy with [30K] we can convince LEGO and the Admin team to create a 30K mini board if we can show there is enough interest!

I've always liked playing on tables that host the extra 1ft per side for models, books etc. I'm thinking about building a new table that will allow space for that.
