First of all. I want to throw out another Thank you to everyone that's helped me in building up my Menoth Warband. Now that the Protectorate Forces are strong, I need to switch focus to the Khador half of my two player starter, that I've neglected until now.

So I currently have:

P Scorcha

Juggernaut
Destroyer

Man-o-War Shocktroops.

(( I also have an Epic Eiryss))

I've heard that Iron Fang Pikemen are pretty good, But what else should I get to build a 35 point Warband?

I like to say I have two armies: Necrons, and Imperium.....

My brother uses the pikemen and winter guard very effectively.

The other side of the internet

Shocktroopers will take quite some learning. In general heavy infantry isn't well supported within Khador and they have many counters. That said, Shocktroopers are good because they can be a hard brick to kill, but don't send them out without a purpose or they will disappoint.

Before focusing on any particular aspect of Khador, is there a particular caster you fancy?

The Juggernaut is okay for it´s price and the Destroyer can be updated to Black Ivan for a moderate cost. That could be enough concerning Jacks if you want to. Some of the other staple Jacks (and 1 Jack is enough for Khador most of the time) are:
- Behemoth: characterjack with pow12+armorpiercing on 2 fists + a second bombard for 13 points. Expensive but very strong. Fun fact: he´s got the full damage grid
- Spriggan: utilityjack with counter to stealth, reach weapon and bulldoze.
- Demolisher/ Devastator: Arm 25 as long as you don´t attack and you don´t have to open your shell for slams anymore

You´ll want some units and while you´r at it you always want to pick up the UA too.
-Iron Fang Pikemen: expensive moneywise und you probably want to brass rod the spaghetti pikes. But ingame they are gold, they hit hard, have crit knockdown and with Iron Flesh + Shieldwall they are a pain to get rid off
- Winter Guard Infantry: Great unit. You´ll want the whole deathstar (Winterguard+UA+Kovnik Jozef Grigorovich), they can jam, they have lot´s of sprays, CRA, CMA and they are cheap. One of the best units ingame.
- Kayazi Assasins: When your enemy has nothing to realiably kill off lots of high def you´ll be a massive PITA. The UA dude looks great.
- Widowmakers: 4 Snipers that get rid of every single-wound model you want dead. Finally there´s a good sniper team in a game. Other factions are jelly because of these dudes.
- Great Bears of Gallowswood: You have to use them as a second line infantry but if you are able to deliver them they always hit way above their weight class. Hardest hitting 3 man combo out there and probably the best character unit to date.

These are all great things.

As far as Warcaster goes: I'm going to stick with pScorcha to minimize the number of units I need to buy.

Thank you for the advise.

Sorscha wants Reinholdt & Sylys so she can freezing grip a unit and wind rush into safety.

And Sorscha is pretty good with Greylord Outriders, stationary units really hate pow 12 sprays.

Sorscha is really good. But if you go in for the assassination run, make sure you can actually kill the enemy warcaster otherwise you will probably die the next turn.

It's actually best to use it at range and shoot the enemy to death with auto hitting pow 14 bombards. And field guns, and mortars.
