I'm playing 2v2 in near future.I'm in Alliance with necrons against eldar and SW.

The problem is i don't know what my ally going to take and I'm don't really know what eldars nowadays do.

This is my rooster for now:

Chaos lord 65 pts

13 cultists 62 pts

5 CSM 75 pts

2 obliterators, MoN 152 pts

1 obliterator MoN 76 pts

heldrake 175 pts

aegis defence line, quad gun 100 pts

I thought about sorceror but lord will give my 5 CSM fearless.

It's ok or I should go more aggresive style with bikers and spawns?

Most of necrons can stand there and shoot. Your csm should get up there fast. Drop the csm and an oblit and add some bikers or drop the csm put lord in termie armor and give him burning brand or something add 1 oblit to a squad and add lord and deep strike him and oblitz and kill face.

When in doubt do what seems hardest

I'd drop the Aegis and Quad gun, unless SW is taking a SM ally or something you won't need to worry about flyers from them. I could be wrong, but I don't see a lot of flyers in Eldar lists either.

Troops win small games. So durable reliable Troops that won't flee (Cultists) is a good idea.

I would field something like this:
Chaos Lord, MoN - 80

5 Plague Marines - 120

5 Plague Marines - 120

2 Oblits with MoN - 152

Heldrake - 175

total = 647 points, so that's 53 points to buy 2 special weapons for each Plague Marine Squad, or a Rhino, or a Chaos Spawn.

Just my 2¢

In the embrace of great Chaos, I am no longer afraid, for with its power and favor, I shall become the embodiment of that which I once most feared.....Death

Chaos Space Marines: W50, L23, D17
Warriors of Chaos: W15, L2, D0
CSM 6th Edition: W19, L6, D3
CSM 7th Edition: W17, L2, D2
Kill Team: W2, L0, D0

I Think You are right. I thnik I'll just play your list with some PG and meltas.

Thanks a lot!

That's a solid list, stick the Lord with the Obliterators rather than the PM's since the Oblits don't have fearless and aren't kitted with VoTLW. Also gives your Lord some decent protection so you don't give up the Warlord point. That'd also give you some good wound flexibility, you could stick him out front to tank a couple wounds, and use look out sir's to spread the wounds out when he's hurt.

Also Heldrake's only 170 right, so you have 18 points after you get the meltas, so you could use that to get the 5+ Aura Inv save upgrade for the Lord.

Thats a nice tip. I usually stick the lord with the troops ang go forward. But this is really good idea for extending my oblits survivability. Thanks!
