There is a mod out for x:com called long war has anyone played it?

I played it at some point before Enemy Within was released. I enjoyed it, but I remember I had some difficulty actually getting it to work: Steam attempts to 'fix' the installation of the game by deleting the mod files, and you have to follow their installation and launch instructions to the letter. I found the new classes to be a bit redundant, but overall I really liked what they did with the game. However, I ended up uninstalling it when Enemy Within launched, since it was, at least at launch, incompatible.
