Hey Dakka,

I'm fairly new both to the forums and to WH 40k. I started Dark Angels last August by purchasing a friends secondary army. Now I'm getting into the thick of modeling and painting. I've gotten through several units but am getting ready to tackle the Neph. I was hoping for some tips or things to look out for before I start. Also, the clear plastic vertical post, the piece that goes between the model and the base has what seems to be extra tabs on each end. It looks like they need to be removed but I'm not sure how with the plastic being less pliable than the standard material. Any and all thoughts on the matter would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
