Hi All,

I'm new to the game and just bought the red Desert Rats dice, and they're awful quality. Several don't even have the dots painted white on some sides! And the red counters are, well, sticky... Anyone know if this is a general issue with quality, or just me being unlucky?

Cheers!

I would contact BF about the dice. Possibly include a photo of the issue.

The "sticky" is harder to understand. I had some Green Devil FJ tokens that seemed to have a bit of mahine residue on them, but after playing with them a bit is cleared up. Is it something like that or more like "been stuck in a 5 yr olds hand for eight hours" sticky?

Sorry, me being flippant. The tokens basically have had too much glue used to stick the felt to the plastic, so they're all tacky and sticky at the edges with residue. I imagine that could just be a bad batch. So far, quality control on the various miniatures and accessories is the only thing I don't love about Flames of War. But then, I bet the real tanks etc. were a bit wonky on occasion! Worth a bit of messing about once they're built and painted though.
