Subject: Modeling Meltas on Chaos Bikes...Looking for Bitz!

So I'm looking to add meltas to my chaos bike squad but I can't find any bits to do that with! My conversion skills are not the greatest and I suck with greenstuff, just keep that in mind. I ordered a couple regular space marine bike special weapon sprues to see if I can make them look ok on the chaos bike, but I'm not holding my breath. Are there any companies out there that make bits that will fit on the bike for meltas?

Well the space marine centurions come with 6 meltas so no doubt you could find them on bits sites as dev centurions don't get them as an option.

Well if you're feeling like really splashing out: http://www.games-workshop.com/gws/catalog/productDetail.jsp?prodId=prod1710134a
Comes with one melta that of course fits perfectly, and even a light to cover the hole left where the other bolter would go, the only other options are conversions from melta guns, or making it yourself really.

Yeah, the "flamer" bit does look different than when I ordered that same bit set probably 8-10 years ago. Mine looks a lot more like a melta gun. However, having said that, I don't think anyone will argue that it isn't a melta as long as your not mixing and matching your weapons in the same squad.
Hell, I actually used the plasma bit on mine until I realized I hate loosing a 25 pt model to overheat. I just changed the list to melta but didn't bother changing the bit. No one has ever even commented that the weapon looks wrong. Probably because the "plasma" head doesn't have the tell all plasma glow that most plasma weapons are depicted as having.
