I live in a little town in kent England. I'm 23 and I have nobody to play 40k with! Can anybody suggest how to find players without going to see the local 12 year olds at GW?
Thanks!

Thanks littelnoggin, unfortunately I am on the other side of Kent, the other thing that makes it tricky is that I'm a newbie :( I dont really know what I was hoping for... A friendly local haha

If you are a newbie then surely playing with 12 year olds for now is fine. I mean, you don't have to talk to them.

Well, I sadly can't help ya. And I also know the pain of finding opponents, but maybe there aren't only 12 year olds at the GW store? It's worth a try.

The reason I would like to plan a game in advance is because the gw is an hour away, so to go all that way and it's not possible would be very annoying

Have you tried the Dakka player finder?

The other option is to go to a club a few times that's a bit further afield (Ashford/Canterbury/Margate/Hastings) or attend the nearest tournament to you. Even if it's too far for you to go regularly, you'll probably find that there are other people at the club that live out in your direction, or who might know of gaming groups nearer to Dover.

Clubs usually know about other clubs in the area. You could even just post on their forums or FB pages and see if anyone can help. A quick googling turns up..
