Do you have any points to spare? If you do, take the Ion Accelerator on the Riptide. I have seen that thing decimate too many things to not take it at this point. Other than that, looks like a good list, mate!

Take your 3 man broadside team and split it up. Will it make them easier to get off the table, in a way yes and no. Just loosing one suit would they have to roll LS, and we do all know how bad Tau are at that. So split them up so your opponent have to use more fire to get them down, and so you are able to shoot on 3 targets each turn, nothing feels as wasted as loosing a battle because your tank destroyer was out of targets.

I have never played nor touched a riptide, but with how many points it cost, 18% of your army would I say that you should take it out and set something else in in its place, I do know that it is a big and nice figure, but in my eyes are it simply too costly on this point level.

And lastly, what role do you count on your commander to take? Because right now do I see 2 different weapons combos with three fully different roles, meaning that you always would waste something. None the less would I say that you should take the stimulant controller to him, it is 15 points more on an expensive leader sure, but having the improved Armour will it sure help you with keeping him even longer alive, and with toughness 5 are sudden death a rather rare thing so far I know, Str 10 is after all rather hard to find

I agree with doomande that you should split up your Broads and his reasoning is sound. However with the Riptide I don't agree but I've also played with one a lot and he mentioned not having experience with it. Even though the points are costly he's worth pretty much every point of that (as long as no useless systems). The versatility of it being able to use crazy pie plates and immense armor breaking shots while being tanky (especially if you give it feel no pain) makes it way too good to exclude. Also I'd suggest what Hinata did and upgrade to an Ion Accelerator, it adds even more punch to what will be your main model.

I personally like running firing squad lineups at such a short amount of points. If it were me I'd drop down to one broadside, get more fire warriors and a devilfish or two. You definitely need at least one devilfish to move your Fire Warriors into position to hold objectives. After all that is what Fire Warriors are really for haha. Adding a Devilfish allows the Fire Warriors to advance with your crisis teams to the neutral objective.

Doomande was right on the money with the commander assessment as well. You really want to figure out a role for him and get it going. Though if you do switch to a firing squad then an Ethereal or even a Cadre would be a good choice to attach to your forward Warriors to give them more punch.
