The Farseer is the Warlord and the Autarch runs with the Shining Spears. This List serves three purposes for me; it gets the Harlequins off the shelf, provides a unit that can tank wounds from all the Grav weapons I have been running into recently, and gives me a break from my normally shooting heavy lists. C&C is welcome. However, I would like to keep the Harlequins and Shining Spears in this list at all costs.

I am slightly worried about AV 14 here. My options are the Crimson Hunter on Turns 2-3 with a 2+, Fusion gun and Lance Weapons in the Shining Spears Unit on Turn 2, Farseer Singing Spear on Turn 2, Harlequin Fusion Pistols on Turns 2-3, and the Wraithknight in assualt on Turns 2-3. The Crimson Hunter seems like it is the only reliable choice. Im am wondering if I need to threaten AV 14 on Turn 1? A couple options come to mind. The easiest would be to swap for Bright Lances on the War Walkers. Another option is Droping the Suncannon on the Wraithknight for the Heavy Wraithcannons and adding 2 more Shining Spears or a 3rd unit of Jetbikes. I could also drop the Stone and the Spear from the Farseer along with the Suncannon for 2 Shining Spears and 2 Shuriken Cannons for the Bikes.

Thoughts?

I really am not a fan of Suncannon on the Knight. You have a lot of anti-troop weaponry as it is with the serpents, harlequins, and spears. Keep him stock with wraithcannons and threaten AV13 and 14 much faster.

The spears need fearless. Drop the celestial lance on the autarch for the shard of anaris instead. With the farseer as warlord, you don't need iyandan for anything actually.

Everything else looks pretty solid.

The Twilight Zone

I agree about dropping the suncannon and scatter laser for more stuff elsehwere. It saves points, and gives you more heavy Av-14. Now, your riptide can shoot open a transport, then assault it to finish it off, or assault the juicy insides(say, a land raider).

I think it is cool to keep the clowns, but drop the pistols. The clowns probably wont make it close enough to use them, and even if they do heavy armor is not the target. Sure, you could theroretically pop a land raider then assault terminators or whatever, but with a 6" range and a 3" effective range, save your points and spend them elsewhere. I also question taking a death jester, since the harlequins don't have battle focus. You probably want to run instead of shoot each turn, and there are better places for a shuriken cannon, like in your jetbike squads.

More shining spears would be nice, but take monster hunter on the exarch. For pennies, this power all but ensures you will stomp a monsterous creature into paste. Between the shooting of the lances, hammer of wrath and all the S6 ap3 hits in assault, even a wraithknight has reason to be afraid.

The celestial lance is garbage for the autarch...you either want the soulshrive for a few points less or the shard for a few points more. The celestial lance is just an overpriced, gimmicky star lance. Star lance is good, yes, but your autarch can do better. Also make sure you take a scorpion chainsword to get a replacement weapon if you take the shard.

The most important rule of 40K-Page XVII of the 6th edition rulebook, the figure at the top right of the page. "Shake hands with your opponent and thank them for a good battle and fun experience." Then go out for a beer.

What weapon did you use for your Autarch? I run a very similar list with 8 SS and it's been working really well for me. Shining Spears are really underlooked in the codex, but properly supported they can threaten anything anywhere on the board.
