Local gaming group looking for more players.

We are a fun loving group that have been playing 40k for over 14+ years. We enjoy all aspects of the hobby. From hammering out a new list to assembling the models and painting the minis.

We also play a few other table-top games Malifaux, Bloodbowl and Firestorm Armada. Mostly we play 40k.

First off, Welcome to Dakka!

I’m on the wrong side of the state from you, but I do try to keep track of my fellow New Yorkers, and chime in on the NY gaming threads. This lets me use the search function on my own posts to keep track of threads. Here’s the last one specifically about Buffalo. It’s a little dated, but some of the links therein might help.

Where do you play? A friend of mine and my self both play Firestorm Armada and would love some new opponents. I also play WHFB and 40k and mordheim/coreheim.

We play in Amherst and North Tonawanda.

We just started to play Firestorm at the tale end of 1st ed when we found out that 2nd ed was coming out. I think we have a total of 7-8 or games under our belt. Like I said we play mostly 40k right now.

There are a few clubs in the WNY area that play 40k, Fantasy, X-Wing and Malifaux.

WNY Malifaux: Group out of Rochester with players from around WNY

There is also a great group of players from Erie PA who host events at their LGS plus they come up to play in Rochester events.
I know there is also a pretty large group of players down near Horseheads NY who play WHFB. Corey Reynolds runs the Crossroads GT there every year.

I know that there are a couple of more new stores in Buffalo but I have personally not been to them yet.

Comix Zone (Never been there but hear it has 40k and Fantasy)
