As title; can I countercharge and toss the target away from what they charged?

You can't make a power attack after charging. You also can't spend focus/fury outside of your activation. Some models have Counter Slam, though.

Technically, some models have Chain Attack: Smash & Grab which lets you make a throw attack if you hit with both initials, but, that's limited to 1-2 models in the game, and none of them have Counter Charge.

So, ultimately, what HiveFleetPlastic said.

And you can only make a single charge attack when you counter charge so you would never trigger a chain attack...

Huh...so it is.

Never had a counter-charging model with more than one attack to ever had to consider this.

If you can get counter-charge onto a figure with critical pitch like Legion's Typhon or skorne's archidon you could crit and score a throw-like effect.

Then I truly envy you, because that means that you've never experienced the gentle caress that is a Bronzeback counter charging!

Bronzeback. Has both Counter Charge and Chain-attack: Smash and Grab.

But the bigger reason it doesn't work is you only get to make 1 normal charge attack as a result of Counter-charge.

Now, the BB does allow for the following situation.

1) Charge enemy model with Admonition or Enliven.

2) Enemy model moves away(either after movement finishes or first attack damages)

3) This triggers Counter-charge if the BB is no longer engaged.

4) BB gets another charge attack. Then he gets his second and third initials, which can trigger Smash and Grab.

So its possible for a BB to get 2 charge attacks, 1 gauntlet initial, and 1 tusk initial. Followed by the Chain-attack. Followed by 5 more bought attacks(he's charging for free thanks to PGBH)
