I'm relatively new to 40K myself. About 11 games under my belt and only 2 of them are with SW. However the big glaring problem I see is only having two troops choices in your 1,500 point list, and only three in your 2,000 point list.

Troops are your objective takers. If you get a game with 5 or more objectives then you will struggle to match your opponent's ability to claim objectives. I think you would be fine with the Relic or Purge the Alien but you can't depend on that 1/3 of the missions always coming up.

Just taking a quick look I would say drop the Wolf Lord all together. In the 1,500 point list replace him with more GH and only stick with the Rune Priest as your only HQ.

For the 2,000 point list I would drop the Wolf Lord and replace him with a second Rune Priest with 2xDivination (from the BRB as his psychic powers). And then also add another GH unit.

With both lists if you can find the points for it give three of your TWC Storm Shields.

Also another huge key point with taking an extra GH unit. That gives you 3 drop pod units. If you are going to do drop pods then do 3 or more... no less. With the SW they get half their pods on turn 1 (rounding up). So with 3 pods you get 2 in on turn one. However with 2 pods you only get 1 in. That 1 unit of GHs will be the complete target of the enemy during the bottom of turn 1 or top of turn 2 depending on if you go first or second. However with two units out there that gives your opponent something to think about.

I like the LF as they are with all ML. However I keep being told that you should split them between ML and LC. I am going to full with this and see what I want to do in the future but it might be something for you to think about as well.

As I said before I am still really new to the game myself so you may want to wait for some veteran players to chime in... but I'm pretty confident they will tell you to take more troops.
