I’m playing my buddy’s DE army tonight, and threw together this 750 Salamander army. How does this sounds against 750 points of DE?

since the game is over, how did the deathwinds do? Also might have been able to drop the deathwinds on the two pods to add another bike and make them another troop choice, just a thought though

The deathwinds were good. He deployed his troops along hie table edge, and I dropped the two DW pods right next to them on the first turn. Between the DWs and the flamers, his troops were smoked in two turns. I actually ran the bikes as troops; the minimum requirements are 5 bikes and a bike captain. The unit did well, destroying an elite squad and his warlord. I parked my scouts on a rear objective, dropped all three pods near his table edge, and ran the bikes in from my deployment line. The pod troops kept his units busy while the bikes caught up, and he didn't even touch my scouts.

The turn your DW ML drop pods came are cannot shoot. Vehicle's that DS are considered to have moved at cruising speed. So the only thing that can fire on the turn it came in was your SB drop pod as snap fire....
