Hello Dakkaites. Jeremy here. In between calls and getting everything ready for our Kickstarter campaign, I have been doing speedsculpting here at the studio, These are busts sculpted from a primitive sphere in Mudbox, and then tweaked in Photoshop. I can usually bang one of these out in the spare time that I can find in a day.

None of these are exact sculpts for potential models. They are basic sculpting exercises that I set out for myself, in order to keep practicing. What is cool is that they offer an opportunity for collectors to give feedback and help shape my design process. We are not all sculptors, but we are all fans of fantasy artwork and therefore I respect all opinions here as expert opinions.

If you have not "liked" our Facebook page, do that in order to see the artwork before anyone else. You can also make requests there for us to speedsculpt your own concepts. http://www.facebook.com/creaturecaster

I will check back here to review and discuss the critiques on the concept art, plus I will be adding new artworks as I complete them. Thanks

Jeremy

(P.S. everyone wants to know the release date of Creature Caster miniatures, plus their price, plus exactly which miniatures will be available in the first wave. We will be sharing this information as soon as we have it, so stay tuned. In the meantime, enjoy the artwork an use this as a space to discuss, critique and as a place to share your wish list for future miniatures)

I have gotten a few requests for a signature banner that you can use to help us promote our campaign. Thank you very much for your support.

really like the deep sea aquatic head (the blue one). looks really cool. Looking at your kickstarter briefly are you gonna make smaller models? Or just the big ones?

My passion is in the big monstrous creatures, so for now that is what I am obsessed with. There are many smaller scale models I would love to make and hope to do that in the future.

Wow. Awesome work dude. Very reminiscent of "pans labyrinth" or hellboy style monsters.

I'm absolutely loving these, I love your style.

If I were to offer any critique on these it'd be to push further. In particular on the aquatic monster and the demon of famine. For instance, I see the shark influences on the aquatic monster, but I'd love to see it go farther that way, maybe bigger or multiple rows of teeth, maybe some gills or a hint of a third eyelid. I think the demon of famine could be great if you pushed it further to the extreme as well, really push the aspect of sunken eyes (maybe achieved through bigger eye 'sockets' in the bone around them), and some deeper recesses in the facial sturcture, maybe unter the cheek bones, to sell the flesh being stretched over it more, and maybe even a thinner but more gaunt neck to really sell the famine/hunger aspect.

But again, I think these are super fantastic, and all my critique is very minor things (and are possibly just coming from my own personal style).

Thank you for sharing these! Looking forward to the kickstarter officially starting up!
