Well, not a bad list. But it needs some tweaking.

The Serpents are the workhorses of an Eldar army. I'd give them holofield, tl scatterlaser, and underslung shuricannon.

The Farseer should be mounted on a jetbike. Give her primaris powers (guide, prescience, psychic shriek) and she's a good support character.

Fire Dragons can be taken without Exarch.

Its sufficient to take a normal Wraithknight.

Warwalkers should better have dual scatterlasers guided by the Farseer.

Firstly for double FOC need a second hq

secondly add scatters to the serpents

While many faseers and Autarch may disagree. I suggest keeping the scatter bright lance combo. Not because of any potential math hammer. Just from hard experience when running double BL i always face horde armies and when i double double scatter i face to much mech. so i like covering both bases and it seams to work better for me. YMMV however.

again i don't like Fire prisms cause when i take em i drift 12 inches - BS or fail there single shot version. so YMMV

Stock wraithknight is very uber against elite and tank units. suncannon is only good for anti infintry tactics.

for list one if your going to go DAVU may as well drop the extra 5 DAs and guardians and take another DAVU wave
serpent. unless you have a very specific plan for them.

and while you may not need a firepike exarch i have found that the extra 2 shots at and extra 6 inches work well when taking wound allocation range in to account.

good luck young seer

Mali has some good points though,

1) prism can be guided
2) you shouldn't need pike on exarch as fast shot should be more then enough
3) I normally run stock WKs because I go for CC where knights are superb
4) I suffer same problems for WW but they can out flank so unless you play LR spam you should be able to get side/rear AV easily.

Just some opinions.

Looks pretty solid only suggestion i would have is swapping the walkers brightlances for star cannons as your anti tank is pretty covered but an extra 6 tl ap2 shots will help with both light av and termie death

I think the most efficient Wave Serpent loadout is TL Scatter Laser and Holo-Fields. Unless you plan to only move the serpent 6" or less a turn. If you're not using the shield offensively, you're doing it wrong. If you are using it offensively, it should hang back. If it hangs back, chances are the Shuriken Cannon wouldn't be in range even for the twin-linked snapshots. You want that 1st layer of protection added by a 4+ jink/3+ if behind ruin etc. because you are shooting the shield.

...that big sanction stamp of APPROVAL means it's OFFICIAL. No, I don't have to ask you for permission. D-cannons win games.

Looks good. My only complaint is the WW seem out of place. Everything else can move 12" regularly. If you are going to use them, I suggest you outflank or reserves them. This way they won't come about (and be sitting ducks) until after some infantry are on the ground. I can see this list struggling against another heavy-mech list though. All those S6 / S7 shots won't mean much against AV14. Getting around behind such tanks is tedious and costly.

Some play tips:
Remember, your serpents can move up to 12" and fire 2 weapons at full ballistic skill. More often than not; I'll move, fire my lasers, and discharge the serpent shield. This wrecks infantry units.
I've had good luck with scatter + BL War Walkers. Having 3 twin-linked BL's helps keep tanks in their hidey-holes.
Pop-tart the hell out of your enemy with your infantry (peek out from LOS blocking terrain, shoot, run back behind LOS block). Battle Focus is amazing.
Fire dragons tend to be "single use" so use them wisely.
Whenever possible, use your WK against infantry / light tanks. No reason in wasting those blasts on tough tanks; however tempting such action is. Let your WW, Dragons, and FP worry about other tanks.
Eldar tactics typically go along the lines of playing grab-ass until your opponent goofs. Once that happens, it is balls-to-the-wall commit time. Charge in and don't let them recover. Give them so many targets they won't know what to shoot at.

Agreed, drop cannons for Hf, you can achieve this by,

1) dropping SC (duh)
2) drop the extra Fdragon
3) drop SS from seer
4) if you need yet more points drop exarch from hunter (he can be guided if you really need to)

That should be enough, and after that just roll well!

Are you planning on playing this army in tournaments? For fun at home with friends? Down at the FLGS? Because the list you're describing seems pretty maximized, aka it looks a lot like the netlists that get posted all over here. I also recently started up Eldar and I'll tell you that it's a lot of fun having some units other than purely dire avengers in wave serpents. If I were you I'd limit myself to two wave serpents for the time being and then try to find a creative way to put together a fun list. It's not all about crushing the opposition, and it may be more fun tactically, fluff-wise and in terms of competition.

Also, I would strongly suggest magnetizing the Wraithknight and the Fire Prism/Nightspinner - saves a bunch of money and gives you some flexibility. I just finished magnetizing my night spinner/fire prism and it's a nice "starter" model to learn how to do it.

What he said. While Wave Serpents are extremely nasty, it is much more fun to play a fluffy army against another fluffy army. This is why I plan on getting some Support Weapons and pushing footdar / mixed (once funds arrive )
