This is my list for a tournament we are having within our gaming group this month, any opinions or constructive criticism is welcome as it is my first allied list and it's building up to an Apocalypse game in April.

Archon will be placed with the Incubi and the Venom as a quick moving close combat unit.

Don't get what the avatar is providing? If you drop him for a mantleseer saves around 50 points plus the 20 odd your under could look at getting a raider or a small jet bike squad

Agreed with above, switch to mantle seer and make hunter exarch.

I also agree about taking a mantlesomething and making your hunter an exarch.

Your kabbies really need a raider; on foot they will be quickly and easily gunned down.

Why take an archon if your going bare bones? A shadowfield is almost required, and just a venom blade offers no benefits over a succbus or hamey. I would take a hamey with a scissorhand and liquefier gun. Costs the same, but brings a pain token and liquifer to the unit, as well as plenty of poison attacks.

Avatar is about drawing fire, and a bunch of the guys within the groups take multiple MC's (Chaos and Nids) hoping that the Avatar will be able to combat those.

Working with the models I have at the moment (not buying to many more) Archon was the HQ I had available.

You could probably use your archon as a succubus and nobody would notice/care. If you still really want the archon, take a shadowfield and drugs. Cost is fairly low, but survival and power is exponentially increased.

If you really want the avatar, fast shot is required. For pennies, you get an extra BS10 melta gun on a MC l with fleet and battle focus. Dark eldar poison will go a long way towards downing MC's, but if you want your avatar to help out take monster hunter. Re rolling to wound means you can avoid using smash, to get a lot of attacks at I10.

I also noticed your venom does not have a second splinter cannon. Forget that it is even an option, always buy your venom with a cannon on the bottom. If your venom has the rifles built on it, it is really easy to convert or kit bash.
