So, I've loved the Dark Angels since I had my rogue trader book and they were in black. Finally putting together a large Ravenwing army but I need some help with the librarian.

Are they technically part of the ravenwing, or are they just added on for missions when needed? I thought every company had a librarian...but is the Ravenwing different in this case, being such a unique company to begin with? I only ask so I give him the correct shoulder pad. I'm using a grey knights pad for the right shoulder, the one with the open book....leaving the left shoulder to be either a dark angels pad or a ravenwing pad.

Somewhat related to this...should his bike be a ravenwing bike? Would it just be a 'loaner' from the ravenwing armory or what?

If you have any additional info that would relate to the ravenwing and a librarian, please feel free to throw it up here.

PS - I guess I also wonder the same about a techmarine...I just made the assumption that a techmarine would be attached to the chapter for maintaining all the vehicles.

I don't think it is ever specified if there is a Librarian specific to the Ravenwing,so you could go both ways. His bike would be a Ravenwing bike though,as they compromise of the entire Dark Angles bike arsenal.

Librarians are never part of a company, but of the Chapter's Librarius. They are, however, attached to certain companies or task forces.
