I've been offered a decent deal on a new Hammerhead but I can tell by the packaging that it's not the latest edition. The current packaging includes a pip on the front that shows it can be built as a Skyray as well as a Hammerhead, while the packaging for the model in question does not. I've been assured that despite this it still contains the parts for the Skyray, but my question is, if this is a 5th ed HH (or even a 4th, not sure how to tell the difference), is there an actual difference in the model or is it the exact same sprues just in a new box?

Cheers!

It's the exact same sprue for the hammerhead, but if its the hammerhead on the box art then it normally would not come with the skyray turret.

Oh stop complaining, its for the greater good... Now get in the box!
