Everybody seems to be building lists of only stuff they have on them right now, wysiwyg and already assembled and painted and all that instead of theorycrafting. I'll throw in my lot I'll jump on the bandwagon. Here's 1850 points of very casual models in my collection

HQ:
Captain in Terminator armor with dual lightning claws, 155

Captain in Terminator Armor with Sword and SB 140 (could be a Libby if he had a hood but it's definitely the Captain model)

Elites:
5 tactical terminators, one assault cannon 230
Sanguinary Priest, barebones - 50
Sanguinary Priest with Jump Pack and Infernus pistol - 90

Troops:
5x assault marines, sarge has a power sword, in a Land Raider Crusader DT with a Multimelta - 340

10x assault marines, two melta guns, sarge has power axe and infernus pistol - 240

5x assault marines, one plasma gun, in a Razorback DT with Twin linked assault cannon - 170

5x scouts with snipers and camo cloaks - 90

Fast Attack:
Flamestorm Baal Predator with Heavy Bolter Sponsons - 145

Heavy Support:
Storm Raven with TL Multi Melta and TL Lascannons - 200

All termies and the barebones Sang priest (he could pretend to be Corbulo?) go in the Crusader, the displaced Assault Marines go in the Storm Raven for a Turn 5 hover charge to try and win an objective. Reserve: the SR (duh), Flamestorm Baal for outflanking, AC Razorback to protect it and the Jumpers can either reserve to Deep strike to shoot for Rear armor or fly up the middle with the LRC to help out cracking transports and assaulting things that need to be assaulted.

It's different. I'll give it that much. No one would see this list coming. Then again there's nothing gimmicky about it to use that surprise to it's advantage.

I have some other models I could use (lol Sanguinary Guard and tactical marines) but this is what I came up with at the drop of a hat. Let me know what you think!

Curbulo isn't good without termis with stormshields. Lascannon hits won't do much. put a regular SP with Termis in the LR. Baal Preds aren't good without doubles imho.
