Hey everyone just being making a list for an ultramarine list that i'm thinking if doing and wanted a bit of feedback

so basically this list is supposed to be the beginning of my second company (the idea in the end is to have a few full companies and a nice sized armory).
Its not supposed to be tournament standard but i want it to still be a good all round list. Most of the models i have already bought (sicarius, centurions, tacticals, storm talons, command squad) so i've made sure that these have been the main the bulk of this list.
Here goes:

Captain Sicarius - 185

Command squad
5 meltaguns
drop pod - 185

10 tactical marines
meltagun
plasma cannon
rhino - 200

10 tactical marines
meltagun
plasma cannon
rhino - 200

5 scouts
snipers - 60

5 scouts
snipers - 60

Stormtalon with tw lascannon - 140

Stormtalon - 110

3 Centurions
grav cannons
omniscope - 260

Aegis line with quad gun - 100

Total - 1500pts

The idea is to split the tactical squads up, heavies stay at the back, the meltas ride around in the rhinos doing their thing. Sicarius will give tank hunter to the tactical squad that sits on the quad gun, this will be my main anti air with it being interceptor aswell.
The scouts will be used to hide mostly and sit on objectives, i've done them as 2 squads here so that i get 2 sergeants for the extra BS but if it was a kill point game then i'd probably turn them into one?!?!

I don't really know weather or not to have one standard storm talon and one with lascannon, or have both with skyhammer missile launchers. Do you guys think the meltas on the ground would be enough for armour 14 vehicles without the need for lascannon in the air?

Some input would be much appreciated and please note the list at the top of the post of the things i already have at the back of my cupboard so i don't really want to change them out of the list.

Cheers

Honestly, if you have to smash AV14 your melta pod should be able to handle it. For 250 points, 2 Stormtalons with skyhammers is probably your best bet. The lascannons are a bit too expensive IMO and typhoons aren't worth it unless you're shooting Wraithknights; you'll wound everything else on 2's with skyhammers anyway.

If give the scouts camo cloaks as well. They will want to be sitting still in cover to use their heavy weapon sniper rifles.

I'm not a fan of plasma cannons just because they have a short range, can't overwatch, or shoot at fliers and snap fire. I'd swap it for a lascannon or missile launcher, especially the squad on the quad gun (might get lucky with that snapshot tank hunter)!

The Centurions weakness is that they don't have an invulnerable save, but the load-out you have is good. If the coordinate their attacks with the Stormtalons coming in, they could prove pretty effective.

Other than that, it's a neat list!

Thanks for the advice clincher.

i ended up switching to the skyhammers on both of the storm talons, switched the plasma cannons on the tactical squads to a missile launcher and a multimelta. this then gave me enough points to kit one unit of scouts with snipers and camo cloaks, and the other unit totally bog standard. this worked though as i set the aegis line outside my deployment and then the normal scouts behind this so they can go to ground and still have a 2+ cover.

The list worked well in its first game and managed to to win a Relic mission, game 2 is on saturday, hopefully will keep the 100% track record
