These are the two lists I am planning to run this year and get some good game time and practice with before expanding up to 50pts

Thoughts and please no take Stormwall advise it's a cost I can't justify splashing out on one model. :-)

For list 1. Sylys or Squire works. I just like the squire more, for the extra focus. PStryker likes Arc Nodes, so consider taking one. Earthquake is the reason why. Stormclad is really good, though Ol`rowdy might be better. More focus efficient, tougher, and stronger with knockdown capabilities. Gun mages plus UA jack marshaling a Sentinel or Hunter or Defender would be a good idea. Either that, or don`t bother with the UA. Saves points. Stormlances, idk really. They do good and bad so I can`t comment on them. Stormblades can dish it out, but cannot take it. To make them work, usually take 2 stormgunners, officer and standard bearer, minimum unit, and rhupert carvolo. Storm lade captain if you got the points, and be sure to casd arcane shield on them. They need it.

I think both of your lists are good, just that the pstryker list needed some tweaking imo. Keep it up!

Stryker likes either of them, I have used him with Squire and Lancer now want to give Sylys a go with him.
Though the loss of the long knockdown threat will be missed, it will allow me to play Styker in a different way.

Will always take the UA marshalling a jack or not. Gun Mages with access to True Sight is not to be turned down.
Not sure if I want to Marshall a Jack with them in this list, if I did it will probably be a Hunter.

The Storm lances make great tarpits with Arcane Shield and Strykers feat taking them to ARM25. Plus they hit hard. They also offer me good front line unit that can't be trampled over cut down charges lanes with their large bases and reach.

The Stormclad is in as don't own Ol' Rowdy yet and with the blades nearby he can be as focus efficient.
