Hey everyone, the more I play the more I'm seeing Thousand Sons are poor at scoring. They are very expensive troops, and are made even more expensive by their Aspiring sorcerers, so to make them cheaper you want to take as few squads of them as possible (you'll hardly ever see squads of 5, almost everyone takes them in squads of 9 or higher). In addition, they are very offensive units, which means they have to divide their turns between doing as much damage as possible by rapid firing followed by assaulting, but they often dont have the mobility with S&P to both max out their damage early game and make it to an objective late game.

So pink horrors are great, because they're fluffy, somewhat durable with being able to reroll their invuln and cover saves of 1, and have a decent 24" attack so they can still contribute while standing on a point. Most importantly, they can deepstrike where ever you want them and they wont get shot at until turn 2 3 or 4 when they arrive. How can I fit another squad of 10 or 11 into this list? Criticisms of the list are welcome I guess but I really want to know what people think I should lose to make room for the horrors.

Cut down the upgrades on the vindicators. Most people will be able to stay out of range/get side armor shots on them, so they are best kept cheap. That should get you pretty decently close. After that, cutting the Icon of Flame would be the next thing to go imo. I like the idea of the list though!

Drop wfg, maybe even dpossesion.

I would rather use pred with side lascannons.
