I've been attempting to paint white uniforms for a bit now. However, it seems that whatever I do, it just ends up looking really ugly (washes didn't really work, and neither did spray-painting them white). What would be your advice? Should I just use Wargames Foundry's Austrian White?

Do you have ay photos of your current attempts so we can see what you are trying to improve upon? Also, is the goal to paint an army to a table top standard, or are you looking for something more display worthy?
