Subject: Veterans Journeyman League Trolls - Where next?

Boom! Leman Russ Commander

I've been invited to play in a Veterans Journeyman League and have chosen to play Trollbloods, using the alternative Trollbloods Battlebox of:
pDoomy
- Mauler
- Pyre Troll
- Storm Troll
I went with this instead of the regular BB as I didn't like pMadrak or the beasts it came with.
My only question is, where do I go from here?
I managed to trade for the following bits, but I don't know if they are suitable:
Full Krielstone (Could use the min squad at 15 points)
EBDT (Was thinking of adding this guy at 25 points)
I also have a full unit of Boomhowlers kicking around.
What would be the right way to go about playing this Veterans Journey League?

The Krielstone and EBDT are certainly a great start.
Boomhowlers are an ok unit for trolls, but since they aren't FF you can run into issues. I'd rather take Kriel Warriors or Fennblades before Boomhowlers.
A Fellcaller solo is good infantry support after you have some infantry. IIRC, his abilities are faction only so that's why Boomhowler isn't a great idea outside of Borka's theme force which makes them FF.
Boomhowlers are a good unit just by themselves, but they don't benefit from a lot of the Troll infantry synergies so that is why I think most Troll players don't run them.

The Boomhowlers have now been errata'd as Trollkin Unit. They get all the stuff from Troll Spells.
They're an option, but not a necessary one as Kriel Warriors do it better, as do Fennblades.
So EBDT is good at 25 with so many beasts already on pDoomy?
I'm wanting to change Casters later on, possibly for Borka or eMadrak. Problem is the change in beast points.
Do I swap Doomy out or keep him and go for his Runes of War Tier?

Painlord Titan Princeps of Slaanesh

Just because they have been labeled a Trollkin unit does not affect their affiliation. They are a "Mercenary Minion" unit and as such do not benefit from Friendly Faction spells or feats.

I don't know why you would take them in a troll army. Their big thing is they're tough, but so is every other troll. Other than that. they're just a jack of all trades unit.

Well they are good with eDoomy as they require no support.
