The Eternity Gate

I really like what the new Crimson Slaughter supplement adds in terms of character and power. I'm thinking of sticking the sorc with the oblits as I figure with 3 rolls on divination I have a good chance of getting the ignores cover power. Let me know what you think.

Mark of Khorne is more or less useless on Spawn because it gives them rage and counter attack. They already have rage and with their speed they should be the ones doing the charging. Also, 6 Plague Marines? Papa Nurgle will be most upset with you.

I'd give the nurgle bikers melta guns. Use them as mobile tank poppers, and then give the spawn MoN, as said the Khorne mark is pretty pointless on them, it makes them more survivable for the lords protection. Otherwise I'm a big fan!

IMO I'd drop the bikers for a second heldrake.

Khaines wrath is right, mark of khorne on spawn is a waste of points.

Only in death does duty end..... Not for Khorne it doesn't

Thanks for the thoughts everyone. The MoK was for fluff reasons alone and it is only 10pts. I will just drop them down to unmarked as I need them to escort my juggerlord.

@welshhoppo: I know of papa's disappointment, if I could come up with the 48pts I would totally add the sacred number.

I would have thought the Relentless Blade would be better on the Nurgle Lord? Also wouldn't Spawn be the best bodyguard for him too? That way he's backed up by 15 more T6 wounds rather than just 5.

The Maulerfiend doesn't seem to fit. Perhaps send those points towards a second Helldrake? Not that you've got the rest of the spare points.

What would happen if you trade places wth the bikes and spawn? Give the spawn to the nurgle lord and the bikers to he khorne lord? I think that may be a better way to organize them and it even makes more fluff sense I think ;p
